Enrolment Package

Families who are not resident in Timor Leste may enroll their children in DIS by applying by email to managerdis@gmail.com and any further necessary advice and information will be given.

If you are already in Dili please phone our Principal Kirsty Hilson or phone our office manager on 731 6065 to organize a convenient time to meet and discuss your schooling needs and for a tour of the School.

For secondary year enrolments it may be necessary to discuss subject choices with teachers, and this will be facilitated. Otherwise, please forward or drop your completed enrolment form to the administration office.

Upon receipt we will advise you of your child’s acceptance and class placement and a convenient starting date. Students can be accepted throughout the school year if a vacancy exists.

On your child’s first day please present to the administration office at least twenty minutes before classes commence and ensure that you furnish the following documentation if this has not already occurred.

• Reports/transcripts from previous schools
• Persons other than parents collecting child form and 4 photos (Year 2 and below.)
• Note requesting administration of regular medication
• A photocopy of the front page of passport for student and parents
• Completed Extracurricular Activity enrolment form (Primary and Secondary Grades)

Year 11 and 12 Secondary Distance Education Students must also complete the enrolment requirements of the Distance course provider with whom they are enrolling. While this is the responsibility of individual families, DIS staff are available to assist so please do not hesitate to email managerdis@gmail.com for help.
