DIS Calendar

The DIS school year Calendar is a hybrid that caters for Southern Hemisphere families, as well as those from Timor and countries in the Northern Hemisphere.

There are 4, ten week terms. Students have a 5 week holiday in December and June, and 1 week holiday in April and September. DIS has five pupil-free days each year, set aside for the first two days of Term 1 and the first day of Term 3, 4 & 5. DIS closes for national public holidays as outlined in Term Dates.

DIS provides 188 contact days for students and 194 contact days for staff.
